PRODCUTIONS

Team Wonder Dave Productions is on a mission to make positive impact using literature and comedy. Formalizing in 2022, the โ€˜teamโ€™ was an acknowledgement of the โ€˜villageโ€™ of friends and artists that had already helped make the productions a reality. The thing they all had in common was Wonder Dave.

Baruch Porras Hernandez is not only a multi-talented comedian known for his performances from fancy universities to strip clubs and even a cave, but also the mastermind behind the latinx written word show "Donde Esta Mi Gente?". A dynamo in the comedy scene, he's collaborated closely with Wonder Dave, his best friend since their slam poetry days in DC over a decade ago. Together, they've electrified stages, with Baruch often guest-hosting at Hysteria Comedy Open Mic and Safe Words, and co-producing the groundbreaking "Donde Esta Mi Queer Comedy" with Safe Words in 2023. A storyteller at heart, born in Mexico and San Francisco's charmer, Baruch bridges cultures and communities, lighting up stages and, occasionally, making out with your dad.

Her distinctive approach to comedy, blending personal narratives with broader societal issues, makes her a standout contributor to the comedy scene and an essential member of TWD Productions.
